Examination & Academic Policies

What are the requirements to qualifying for final examination?

You should have at least a minimum of 15 marks out of 40 marks of the continuous assessments should be obtained for qualifying to appear for the final examination. With Attendance of a minimum of 80% of the total lectures conducted.

Excuses will be granted only if the absence is due to grave issue such as students’ serious ill health, death of a member of the immediate family or any other cause which is accepted by the study board. In this case, a student can sit the examination on the next immediate occasion with privileges.

In case of ill health, the student is required to substantiate the absenting from the examination producing a valid medical certificate.

In other cases, too, the reasons for absence should be substantiated by producing relevant documentary evidence.
