To enroll in the AAT course at LCL Campus, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Passes in 6 subjects at the G.C.E. (O/L) examination (Sri Lanka).
  • Passes in 5 subjects at the G.C.E. (O/L) examination (UK).
  • Passes in 2 subjects at the G.C.E. (A/L) examination (Sri Lanka or UK).
  • Five years of work experience in a relevant accounting role.

Assessments and Evaluation

The AAT examinations are conducted exclusively by AAT Sri Lanka to maintain standardized evaluation and ensure the integrity of the qualification.

  • Examination Format: Each subject includes a 3-hour written paper assessing both theoretical knowledge and practical application.
  • Grading System: Results are awarded based on the following grade thresholds:
    • A Pass: 75% to 100%
    • B Pass: 60% to 74%
    • C Pass: 50% to 59%
    • D Grade: 40% to 49%

To successfully pass a subject, students must achieve a minimum of a C pass (50% to 59%). Subjects with a C pass or higher are considered successfully completed.
